Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for our General Practice Department

• Responsibilities

• Taking histories and providing initial client education
• Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
• Care of hospitalized patients
• Daily callbacks to clients
• Restraining patients
• Assisting in taking radiographs
• Giving IV & IM injections
• Dispensing controlled drugs
• Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
• Performing cytology’s
• Monitor Surgical procedures
• Lab Diagnostics
• Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
• Performing routine cleaning

• Requirements and Qualifications

• All Licensed Technicians must be registered in NC

• At least 1-year related experience
• · Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills
• · Positive attitude
• · Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment

Hospital Hours

General Practice Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
Urgent Care Hours: Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
