The Senior Accountant position combines tasks from General Ledger/Month-end Close, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, and Internal Controls.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Controller with various month-end and year-end journal entries, and other financial reporting and general ledger requirements. Owner of the Debt Roll forward file that is maintained monthly. Also assist in other areas as needed, such as External/Internal Audit, completing various month end recons, and running the monthly reporting for management to review. Provide documentation on any variances for each location.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable process and year end requirements. Review monthly AR balances with the operations with a focus on the 90+ day outstanding category.
- Control the fixed asset process. Enter, tag, depreciate, and dispose of assets.
- Assist in the internal audit.
- Determine areas that need process improvement and lead projects to ensure ideas are put into production.
- Other duties as needed and assigned by the Controller.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Multi-location experience a plus.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise accounting software
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and walk intermittently.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required and CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
